Tiffaney Bishop Collective has claimed the walls and skips along Blacksmith's Way in Belgrave, and I was proud to mix it up with the talented young street artists. A little decorative oriental piece amongst the graf!

To engage the local community I invited members, dog walkers, mums, kids, tourists, everyone! to paint individual bricks which formed a repetitive pattern across the entire wall.

We decided to make a feature of the (unplanned!) bird on the door painted by six year old Gullie, reinforcing the community’s contribution.

For more information about the street art project in Blacksmith’s Way, contact Tiffaney Bishop at Tiffaney Bishop Collective.

If you are interested in having a mural painted at your place, I would love to hear from you!

Pattern, layer, tone, ecology, geometry, cultural connection,  adaptation and survival.

Emma respectfully acknowledges the traditional owners, the Wurundjeri people as the custodians of the land where she lives and works.
