Acrylic on canvas 109 x 122cm framed

This painting was one of three pieces submitted for my final year 12 work.

I have kept it all these years, but now it’s time to pass it on. It was selected to hang in the VCE Top CATs exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria, something I am immensly proud of.

After school I studied illustration and worked at Hallmark Cards designing their cards and stationery. After 5 years there I worked as a textile deisgner, graphic and packaging designer, photography stylist, and now, 27 years since this painting, I am back where I started, painting what I love - the Australian landscape, the people in it, the geometry, patterns and the unseen; the empty spaces, the feeling you have when you’re in the bush.
